About This Seminar How is your relationship with your boss? Do you work constructively and collaboratively together? Does your manager support and inspire you? Your direct manager likely has multiple projects pulling her/him in multiple directions, so this workshop helps participants take the initiative and make the effort to create, maintain, and expand an effective working relationship with their manager/s. In addition, building great relationships with other powerful, more senior people in your organization can help, especially when you need their support and resources for your projects and other work responsibilities. This workshop is not about “sucking up” to managerial team members. It is about learning techniques and strategies that can help you to work successfully with them: How to manage upwards. Who Should Attend Individuals who want to create or expand a collaborative working relationship with their direct manager and other organizational power holders; support personnel and administrative assistants; new hires or new team members.
Cancellations and Transfers Student substitutions are permitted at any time up to the start of the class. Fourteen (14) days or more prior to the start of the class – No charges will be incurred for cancelling or transfer of class registration. Thirteen (13) days or fewer prior to the start of the class – The full tuition is due. There is no credit available to transfer or refund. If rescheduling, an additional payment in the amount of the new registration will also be due. Student No Show If a student fails to attend class, the full tuition is due and there is no credit available to transfer or refund. Refunds and Credits Refunds are made upon request only for registrations cancelled fourteen (14) calendar days, or more, prior to the class start date. Credits granted can be used for any future class.
